What we collect, why we have it, and what happens when somebody asks us for it. This covers your Moula World account and every product it reaches.
Moula World LLC is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at support@moula.world. Company details are on the imprint.
Account data:
Billing data:
Operational data, which exists because running infrastructure requires it:
We do not ask for, require, or verify your legal name, postal address, date of birth, telephone number, or any identity document. There is no KYC process.
Where the GDPR applies, our lawful bases are: performance of a contract for your account, your services and your billing; legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention and keeping the platform working; and legal obligation where we are required to retain or produce something.
We do not rely on consent for any of it, because we do not collect anything optional. There is nothing here you can withdraw consent for without closing your account.
Cryptocurrency. Payments are processed through our own payment infrastructure. We record the transaction and the amount credited.
Card and PayPal. These are processed by third-party payment providers, and they, not we, handle your card details. We never see or store a full card number. The provider will hold the identity data their own rules require, under their own privacy policy, and that is outside our control. If you do not want a payment method that identifies you, pay in cryptocurrency.
The data you store on our services, the files in your object storage and the contents of your servers, is yours. We do not inspect it, scan it, index it, or use it for anything.
We do not send or sell your data anywhere or to anyone.
We are a privacy-respecting company that operates within the law. Those are not in tension as often as people assume, but where they are, we are straightforward about it.
We respond to valid legal process from an authority with jurisdiction over us. We review every request, we refuse those that are defective, overbroad, or from a body with no authority over us, and we disclose only what the order actually compels. We do not give voluntary access to any government or private party.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a preference cookie where you have set a preference that has to persist. That is all. We run no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, which is why you are not asked to dismiss a consent banner.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Exercise any of these by writing to support@moula.world from the address on the account.
We may be unable to act on a request where we must keep something for a legal obligation, or where we genuinely cannot identify you.
If you are in the EU or the UK, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Moula World LLC is established in the United States and our infrastructure providers operate in the European Union and elsewhere. Personal data may therefore be transferred outside your country. Where data is transferred out of the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
We will update this policy when what we do changes. Material changes are announced by email to the address on your account before they take effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
